Imagistik Doc2pix converts any printable Windows file to a TIFF file. The program works like a printer, but instead of printing to paper, it creates single, multi-page or serialized TIFF files, or BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG files, of selectable resolutions and color depth. The output files are of high quality and look exactly like the original. Pages can be appended, inserted or replace pages in a multi-page TIFF file. The licensed version optionally extracts the text of the source file into a text log file. Imagistik Doc2pix does not install a separate driver; instead it piggy-backs on any existing printer driver, eliminating the problem caused by many driver installations
